97 words

In Babette's Feast, two elderly Danish sisters take in Babette, a French refugee, as their cook. For fourteen years she serves them plain food. When she wins the lottery, she spends it all on one magnificent French feast for the sisters and their dour religious community. They came expecting to endure; they left transformed by grace made edible. "Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels." The sisters hosted a refugee; the refugee fed them the kingdom of heaven. The angel in their kitchen had been preparing a feast all along.
