Biblical Truth: Gentleness - Commentary

Gentleness is a divine quality that invites us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts, as Proverbs 3:5-6 beautifully instructs: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This passage doesn’t merely call us to faith; it beckons us into a gentle posture towards life and one another.

Imagine a young child learning to ride a bike for the first time. The parent stands nearby, ready to catch them if they fall, radiating love and encouragement. The child learns to trust, knowing that even if they wobble or tumble, their parent’s gentle presence is unwavering.
