Charles Spurgeon on the Shepherd's Care - Traditional (Psalm 23)

Source: Charles Spurgeon, Treasury of David59 words

"The sweetest word of the whole is that monosyllable, 'My.' He does not say, 'The Lord is the shepherd of the world at large.' He says, 'The Lord is MY shepherd.' The words are in the present tense: not 'The Lord was my shepherd,' but 'The Lord IS.' — Charles Spurgeon. The Psalm becomes personal: MY shepherd, right NOW.
