Corrie ten Boom's Fleas - Traditional (Romans 8:28)
Source: Biographical illustration96 words
Corrie ten Boom and her sister Betsie were imprisoned in Ravensbruck concentration camp for hiding Jews. Their barracks was infested with fleas—miserable, biting, constant. Betsie insisted they thank God for everything, including the fleas. Corrie thought she was crazy. Later, they discovered the guards never entered their barracks because of the fleas—which meant they could hold Bible studies freely. The fleas were protection. Romans 8:28 doesn't say all things ARE good; it says they WORK TOGETHER for good. The fleas weren't good; God used them for good. What "fleas" might God be using in your life?
