Daily Reflection: Justice - Prayer

As we gather our hearts in prayer today, I invite you to consider Romans 12:2, which urges us not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Imagine standing before a vast, tumbling river, its waters rushing with the weight of injustice, pain, and strife. Each droplet symbolizes a cry for help—a plea for justice that reverberates throughout our communities and our world.

But as we engage in faithful prayer, we are invited to dip our hands into that stream, not merely to observe but to be transformed by its current. When we pray, we align ourselves with the heart of God, who listens and acts on behalf of the oppressed. Prayer is not passive; it is an act of radical obedience that shapes our spirits.
