He spent years mapping rivers, building relationships with tribes, combating the slave trade. Critics said he wasn't doing "real" missions. But his paths, acknowledged by God, prepared the way for thousands of missionaries after him. "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
