Evening Prayer: Patience - Story

Day after day, she waters it, pulls weeds, and shields it from harsh winds. Yet, for weeks, nothing seems to happen. The seed lies dormant, invisible beneath the surface. But beneath that soil, life is stirring. Roots are seeking nourishment, and a tiny sprout is preparing to break through.

Hebrews 11:1 tells us that “faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Just like the gardener, we often find ourselves in seasons of waiting, longing for growth that feels agonizingly out of reach.
