Grace Enabling Faith - Wesleyan (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Wesley agreed: we're saved by grace through faith, not works. But he emphasized: grace ENABLES faith. Prevenient grace precedes our response, making faith possible. Saving grace accomplishes what we cannot. Sanctifying grace continues the work. It's all grace—but grace invites response. The drowning man doesn't save himself, but he must stop fighting the rescuer. Ephesians 2:8-9 excludes earning but not receiving. The gift must be accepted. Have you stopped struggling and received?
