Living Out Wisdom - Teaching Material
Trusting in the Lord with all our hearts, as stated in Proverbs 3:5-6, invites us into a dance of faith, love, and wisdom. This passage encourages us to lean not on our own understanding but to acknowledge God in all our ways. Imagine a parent teaching a child how to ride a bike. At first, the child is hesitant, uncertain whether they can balance without the training wheels. But the parent—filled with love—encourages them, saying, “Trust me; I will be right here.”
Just as that child moves forward, feeling the wind against their face, we too are called to move into the opportunities God lays before us, despite the uncertainties that lie ahead. When we trust in the Lord, we are not ignoring our intellect or experiences, but rather acknowledging that His wisdom surpasses our own. It’s about leaning into that divine guidance, especially when life feels like a daunting uphill climb.
So, what does this look like in our daily lives? It may mean taking a step into a new role at work, embracing a calling you feel nudging at your heart, or offering forgiveness where it feels impossible. It’s about actively choosing to believe that God has a purpose for you—even when the path seems unclear. When we trust Him, He promises to make our paths straight, guiding us with a love that is both tender and powerful. Let us open our hearts to His wisdom and step boldly into the life He has designed for us, trusting in His faithful love every step of the way.
