Morning Meditation: Courage - Prayer
As dawn breaks and the first rays of sunlight spill into our homes, we are reminded of the gift of another day—a fresh canvas full of potential, painted with the brushstrokes of God’s promises. Think of John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.” This verse is the cornerstone of our faith, a testament to the courage of Christ who laid down His life for us.
Imagine a mother bird, fidgety and anxious, standing guard over her nest. She knows that to nurture her young, she must venture out into the world, facing the unknown with unwavering courage. Each day, she flutters from her perch, trusting that her instinct will guide her and that her wings are strong enough to soar above the predators lurking below. Like that mother bird, we too are called to step into our lives each morning with courage, fueled by the love of our Father.
In worship, we find the strength to take those first steps of faith—declaring God’s goodness, surrendering our fears, and embracing our purpose. It’s in that sacred space where we exchange our anxiety for divine assurance. So, as you rise today, pray: “Lord, give me courage to face whatever lies ahead.” Let your daily life become a testament of faith, a reflection of the awe-inspiring love that compelled Jesus to lay down His life for you. Embrace the courage to live boldly, knowing that each moment is infused with God’s presence, guiding you along the path He has set before you.
