Room: There Is a World Outside (Revelation 21:1-4)

Jack in Room has known only a shed his entire five years. For him, Room is the world. When his mother tells him there is a whole world outside - sky, trees, other children - he cannot comprehend it. Revelation promises a new heaven and new earth where death shall be no more, neither mourning nor crying nor pain. We are Jack, born into a Room of limitation, unable to imagine what God has prepared. Jack eventual emergence into the real world overwhelms him; so will our emergence into resurrection reality. What we call the world is just the shed; the real world is beyond imagining.
