Instead of saying "God called Abram to leave his home," help them pack the bags. Feel the weight of leaving everything: the house his father built, the graves of ancestors, neighbors who've known him since childhood. Abram is seventy-five. This is not a young man's adventure—it's an old man's leap of faith. "Go to the land I will show you." Not "go to Canaan"—just: go, and I'll tell you when you arrive. Feel the absurdity of loading camels for a destination you can't name, explaining to Sarai why you're dismantling her life on the basis of a voice. But the promise: "I will make you into a great nation." This to a man whose wife is barren. Watch Abram stand at the border of the unknown and simply walk. South through Canaan, altar by altar, claiming nothing but marking everything with worship.
