Show Don't Tell: Genesis 1:24-31

Instead of saying "God created animals and humans," let the earth tremble with emergence. Watch cattle materialize on hillsides—warm flanks steaming in morning air, hooves finding purchase on fresh grass. Lions stretch in afternoon sun, muscles rippling beneath tawny fur, yawning mouths revealing teeth that have never yet tasted blood. But then—a holy pause. The Trinity confers: "Let us make mankind in our image." Watch God kneel in the dust, hands pressing into earth, shaping something with terrifying intention. Not speaking it into being but forming it, breathing into it. The first chest rises. Eyes open—eyes that can look back at their Creator. Here is the only creature who will bear the image. The only one given dominion. God places this human in the middle of everything and says: Rule this. Tend it. You are very good.
