She offers water. She runs to water the camels—ten camels, staggering work. Feel the servant's stunned silence as he watches providence unfold exactly as requested. Gold bracelets on her arms. Days of negotiation. Then Rebekah's choice: "Will you go?" "I will go." Isaac, meditating in a field at evening, looks up and sees camels coming. They meet. And Isaac is comforted after his mother's death.
