Show Don't Tell: Luke 18:15-17
Instead of saying "Jesus welcomed little children," watch the disciples push them away. People are bringing babies to Jesus for him to place his hands on them. When the disciples see this, they rebuke them. Babies interrupting teaching—a nuisance. But Jesus calls the children to him: "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Children receive without earning. Children trust without calculating. Children accept gifts without proving worthiness. That's how to enter the kingdom—not with credentials but with open hands.
