Show Don't Tell: Matthew 7:13-14
Instead of saying "Jesus taught about two paths," show them the gates. One gate is wide—double doors thrown open, easy to find, crowds streaming through. The road beyond is broad, well-paved, comfortable. "Many enter through it." But it leads to destruction. The other gate is small—you have to look for it, squeeze through it. The road is narrow, difficult, rocky. "Only a few find it." But it leads to life. Two gates, two roads, two destinations, two crowds. The mathematics of salvation: many vs. few. The sermon that began with blessing ends with warning. Not everyone who hears these words will act on them. The choice is stark, and the stakes are eternal.
