Substitute "Christ" for "Love" - Christocentric (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

Source: Devotional exercise73 words

Try reading 1 Corinthians 13 with "Christ" substituted for "love": "Christ is patient, Christ is kind. Christ does not envy, does not boast, is not proud..." It works perfectly—because Christ IS love incarnate. Now substitute YOUR name. Uncomfortable? That's the point. We can only love like this by participating in Christ's love. 1 Corinthians 13 isn't self-help; it's Christ-help. He is the love we cannot muster. We love because He first loved us.
