The Invitation: Receive the Gift - Baptist (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Source: Evangelistic appeal88 words

Every Baptist invitation appeals to Ephesians 2:8-9: you cannot earn salvation, but you CAN receive it. Billy Graham preached it millions of times: "Come as you are—not as you ought to be, not as you wish you were. Just as you are." Grace is offered; faith receives. No one is too bad for grace; no one is good enough to earn it. The playing field is level at the foot of the cross. Have you received the gift? It's offered to YOU, right now, just as you are.
